The main character of our Music Video and only musical performer is a female busker. As a full time busker, presentation is just as important as talent - she must be seen as approachable by paying passers in appearance and her outfits represent the genre of her music; however with spared change as her only income her clothes will be shabby, old and worn.
I have chosen neutral brown Parker coat (which seems realistic because of the practicality to being outside) to be worn over a simple dolly dress (entwining her innocence), paired with ripped tights and boots with a distressed look and a hole in the soles (symbolically portraying how her emotions are distressed, worn and damaged).
The majority clothes are dark, representing the negativity and upset within the lyrics of the song but the scarlet dolly dress symbolises the heat, love, and passion behind the song, relationship, singing and Melody. The characters hair and make-up is effortless, maintaining the minimalistic feel.
