A Potential Music Video Idea- Jessica Hung Han Yun
Lisa Mitchell is a low key Indie/Pop British Female artist and Singer/Songwriter. Her song Incomplete Lullaby is one of the Music Video's from which we took inspiration; we found the style interesting and unusual; with cleaver use of Stop Motion usually used by non-mainstream Bands which engages the audience.
The Genre of Lisa Mitchell's Videos are similar to Best Coast; the band we have chosen to use within our Music Video. The laid back, Mellow Genre fits well with our Music Video Idea.
The Conventions used within this Music Video are the Pace of the shots edited to match the pace of the music through the use of cross cutting.
The Mise-en-scene clearly represents the Mellow style of the Video Genre; Costume is simple and the background consists of natural, earthy, plain colours.
However a convention we decided not to use, was the performance element as we felt it would not go with our idea, and that it was not necessary.
By researching music videos this helped in developing our idea, and giving us a new take on what we could create!

Background Information
Best Coast is an American Indie/Pop trio based in Los Angeles. The trio consists of Bethan Cosentino - Singer/Songwriter, Bob Bruno - Multi-Instrumentalist and Ali Koehler - Drummer.
Best Coast are apart of the American Record Label 'Kemoda Record - Mexican Summer' based in New York. They were founded in 2002 and focus on Rock, Indie Rock and Alternative Rock Artists/Bands which appeal to their target audience. 'Crazy for you' was Best Coasts album releases in July 2010; so a fairly new band to the Pop world.
The Original Music Video to 'Feeling of Love' has a mellow, relaxing feel which incorporates the love for California with a French Twist.

Story Line
As a group we have decided to produce a Romantic -Comedy genre Music Video; featuring a Guy and Girl shoes first meeting.
Mise-en-scene: Costume - Black Boots for Male Foot which will represent his Masculinity, Portray his sexuality and differ him from the Female Foot wearing Colourful, Pretty, Girly Shoes.
Location - Variety, Main in Park and on bench.
Editing: Slow Motion and Stop Motion.
Sound: Best Coast - Feeling Of Love/ Boyfriend.
Cinematography: Variety of shots; Over the Shoulder (Ankle shot), Close-up, Low Angle.
